A proud resident of Hatteras Island since 1991, Sylvia moved to the island from Wilmington, NC, where she attended the University of North Carolina Wilmington (UNCW) and earned a degree in Criminal Justice. Before diving into the real estate world, Sylvia embraced the local entrepreneurial spirit, owning and operating two popular restaurants—The Cape Sandwich Co. and The Labrador Oceanic Bistro.

In 2001, Sylvia shifted gears and founded Equine Adventures, offering horseback riding tours on the scenic trails of Hatteras Island. Today, Sylvia’s daughter has taken over the daily operations of the horse business, allowing Sylvia to focus on a growing career in real estate.

A licensed Realtor since 2006, Sylvia has built a reputation for delivering exceptional service and deep local knowledge, helping clients navigate the distinctive real estate market of Hatteras Island and the Outer Banks.  Sylvia is passionate about helping others experience the beauty and charm of the Outer Banks.
